

BIOGRAPHY

Sabrina Smith is an emerging artist from South Florida. Her primary interests in the studio are figures, ceramics, and fluid acrylics. Through Velvet Fig Studio, Sabrina hopes to explore the possibilities of different media and expand her creative portfolio.
Sabrina holds a BA in Art History from Brandeis University, and MA in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art. Additional academic programs include FAU’s Museum Education Program, FSU in Florence, Sotheby’s Institute in London, and Duke University in Flanders and the Netherlands.

Internship and work experience include programming at the Museum of Craft and Design San Francisco, cataloguing at The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life, and Appraisal Coordinator and Business Manager of Fine Jewelry and Watches at Bonhams auction house.
Sabrina has served on the Board of Directors of the Boca Raton Children’s Museum and the Fuller Center. ​
